Lovely water views between shady pohutukawa. Situated opposite 4WD boat ramp straight into the harbour or out into Bream Bay for fishing, diving, and water sports. You can even anchor out in front of the house, allowing for the tide. Kayak anytime and swim at high tide (you might prefer to use reef shoes, or swim at all tides further along the beach where it is sandy). Right on Te Araroa trail, so close to walking tracks including Peach Cove, Kauri Mountain, Mt Manaia, and Mt Aubrey. 15 min farm walk to Smugglers Cove secluded sandy beach or Urquhart's Bay Wharf for a fish. 5 min drive to tennis courts or Ocean Beach for surf. 10 min drive to cafe/dairy, takeaways, restaurant/bar and high-tide concrete boat ramp. 15 minute drive to Parua Bay shops (small supermarket, garage + gas/dive fills, liquor store, bakery). 20 min drive to character Parua Bay Tavern and all-tide concrete boat ramp. 25 min drive to The Pines golf course, Taiharuru and Pataua South. 35 min drive to Whangarei Town Basin.

2 x double bedrooms and 2 x twin single bedrooms. Sleeps maximum of 8. Pillows, duvets, blankets provided.
Open plan dining (seats 6), lounge (two couches and beanbags), and kitchen incl. fridge, induction hobs, oven, microwave, and 1-drawer dishwasher.
Front deck facing the harbour incl. awning, 2 x sun loungers, table and chairs, BBQ and gas bottle.
Flat front lawn for volleyball, badminton etc (BYO gear).
Fish bench out the back.
Plenty of parking for cars and boat on driveways - or lawn in good weather.

Please note some important points:

1. This is our bach. Everything is in good, clean condition, but its not a flash holiday home! The furniture is different now to that in the photos.

2. No internet or TV channels. While there are some games, reading material, two TVs with DVD player, and a table tennis table with bats/balls, we suggest you take your own entertainment! You can cast to the TV using the cables provided, so long as you have access to your own content either previously downloaded or a decent mobile data allowance.

3. This is our family property, and we are very respectful of our lovely neighbours who live in close proximity, so we reserve the right to decide who can stay and who cannot - best for families, quiet couples and walking groups. This is NOT a party venue for a bunch of mates, sorry.

4. A maximum of 8 people may stay overnight on the property. No tents or camper vans etc without owners' prior agreement. Extra day visitors are only allowed with the owners' prior agreement.

5. Please take your own bed linen (sheets and pillowcases), towels (for bathroom and beach), bath mat, hand towels and tea towels.

6. Absolutely NO smoking in the house/garage or on the deck - out on the grass only.

7. A pet may be allowed, after full disclosure and with the owners' prior agreement.

8. Fish bench and BBQ must be left clean.

9. Dishes mush be washed, dried and put away before leaving.

10. Clean and neatly sorted recycling may be left in recycling bins in garage. All other rubbish must be removed from the property unless council rubbish pick-up is due the NEXT day. Please be considerate - fish and shellfish remains must be dumped well out in harbour on an out-going tide.

11. A cleaning fee of $50 applies to all stays - this is to cover standard vacuuming, floor washing, bathroom cleaning and sanitising.

12. If fish bench, BBQ, dishes, or rubbish are not properly attended to, or there is any other non-standard cleaning issue or minor damage, your $100 bond will be retained to cover it.
